In the middle of October we harvested the last of our grapes. |
The Riesling grapes we harvested, had a sugar degree of over 100’ Oechsle or 25 degree Brix. Thus we are expecting a very good wine from this years crop.
The Riesling grape is the latest ripening grape. All the other varieties like the pinots red, white or grey are already harvested and fermenting. But the grapes of the Gewürztraminer variety were less than last years crop harvest because during blooming in summer we had a few days of heavy rainfall.
